Is your gear working?

Check every key, button, pixel and sound right in your browser. No install, no sign-up, and camera and microphone data never leave your device.

What this browser supports

What you can check

Everything you want to verify after buying a new keyboard or mouse, right before a video call, or when buying a used monitor or phone, in one place. Each test shows the raw signal your browser receives from the device, which helps you tell a hardware fault from a settings problem.

  • Input devices: every key and rollover on your keyboard, mouse buttons and wheel, double-click faults, polling rate, touchscreen dead zones, gamepad buttons and sticks
  • Camera and sound: your webcam's real resolution and frame rate, microphone level and recording, speaker left/right and frequency range
  • Display: dead pixels, backlight bleed, gradient banding, refresh rate
  • Hand speed: click speed (CPS) and spacebar mashing

How your privacy is handled

The camera and microphone turn on only after you start a test and your browser asks for permission. Video and audio are processed inside your browser on this device and are never sent to a server. Snapshots and recordings disappear when you close the page unless you save them yourself. Scores such as click speed stay in this browser's storage.

If something looks wrong

  • Try again in another browser or another USB port. If the result is the same, the device itself is the likely cause.
  • Wireless devices are affected by battery level, distance and Bluetooth interference.
  • Check your operating system's camera and microphone permissions and default devices.

FAQ

Do I need to install anything?
No. Every test runs in your web browser. A current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari works best.
Is my camera video recorded or sent anywhere?
No. Video and audio are processed only inside your browser and never uploaded. Pressing Stop or closing the page turns the device off.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. The touchscreen, screen, camera, microphone and speaker tests work well on phones. Keyboard and mouse tests need those devices connected.
